I dreamed I was visiting England. An old friend of mine was living there and I was thinking about moving there. She showed me her home. It was so big and beautiful. It had very tall ceilings, and looked elegant. It was a light room, with colors of beige and gold, with traces of other colors, like red. She said that the builders of these homes were behind and were renting the homes at a very affordable rate, and so I could probably live there as well. I’d love that if I moved there. I loved these homes. I had my kitties with me and I didn’t have to worry about people at my friend’s home, because they all were careful with my kitties. They were kind to them and made sure not to let them out when they left. That alone made me want to live there. Then we went to see a person my mom was visiting, She didn’t live far from my friend. I was happy she had heard of the neighborhood my friend lived in and that it was nice. I think my friend called the neighborhood, Brooks. Then we all went downtown. It was beautiful. We were at a tavern type of restaurant, like a pub, and we walked outside. My friend said to looked at the sky here. I did. It was so beautiful. My mom and I both thought so. I remarked that there were so many more stars, and that they were closer. And there appeared to be more stars behind those. Then I looked at the skyline. There were so many very beautiful tall buildings in front of me glowing gold in the night light, and several had sparkling lights. It was breathtaking. I talked with mom about it. I said I really wanted to live in a new country since the US had changed so much. My mom agreed. I said I wanted to make sure England hadn’t changed like the US as well though. Not that I thought it had, but I wanted to double-check before making such a big move. However, that was all only a smaller aspect of why I wanted to move. I wanted a better life in many ways. We went back inside. I was observing people. Everyone was friendly and diverse. Then some royal person came in, and the pub made everyone vacate one of the rooms so that the royal person could have dinner. I didn’t really care for that, but it wasn’t a deciding factor. I went outside. I wouldn’t be able to get back to mom or my friends until the royal person left. I hoped my mom didn’t worry where I was, but I was glad to have some time alone to think about what I wanted to do. I was really ready for something new. I knew my friend wouldn’t be why I moved. She had always been competitive and that wasn’t what I wanted to be around, but she was a nice casual friend. But I really loved how it looked and felt here. Would this place truly be nice and different?
